Artist's Description
This image was created within the confines of both Bryce and Photoshop. Originally, the Mechs and Spaceships were fabricated in Bryce by wireframe construction. Anyone who has ever worked in this medium can attest that this form of art is probably more akin to model building than creating a two dimensional composition as each of the most minute shapes must be modeled and crafted and then combined with other shapes to create the image. It becomes a tedious, but rewarding process, wherein the results are striking. After the completion of the Bryce composition, the image was transferred to Photoshop, where lighting, contrast, and color balance effects, as well as sizing and renderings were added to complete the illustration.
